W.D. Construction has now been in business over 40 years. As a family owned business, Jim Peirce began the company in 1977. After 30 years of hard work, Jim is now retired from construction. He is still active in several things including a growing sharpening service titled The Sharpening Shop located in Chesapeake City MD. Jim began his career in commercial work doing multi-million dollar school and government projects and the business evolved over the years to transition to mostly residential projects anywhere from small to large scale. Jim successfully handed the business over in 2007 to the next generation - his son Tory. Victor (Tory) Peirce, the current President of the company, has been with the business full time since 1988 and has over 35 years of construction experience. Says Tory, “I treat every project as if it were my own. That has always been my approach – dollar for dollar, I know the customer is getting a great value and finish product that we can both be proud of”. Tory’s wife Gina helps with the office secretarial work and even in the field (if duty calls). She has been with the business for over 20 years.
45 years and counting of family operated business and we have enjoyed meeting and working with so many great people. We continue to serve Cecil and surrounding counties as well as PA and DE proudly and look forward to working with you on your project.
